Hi everyone.!! Hope you guys are all going good since I last posted.?
Today I thought that I will show you how I go about my winter morning routine, as I have a quite relaxed morning routine and would love to show you. You might even get some tips for your own morning routine.
So without any further ado let’s get on with this winter morning routine.
Well my mornings always start with me hitting the snooze button at least a couple of times before I even think about getting out of bed and starting the day. ( I’m so not a morning person, but I try haha.)
Once I’m up I go straight into the kitchen to make my sons lunch for school and put it in the fridge before we leave for school. I also grab myself a lemon water and take my morning medication. I will then go and wake up my son and get his school stuff ready for him.
Once his up I make him his breakfast and I’ll let him watch some cartoons before leaving for school.
While my son is watching his cartoons, I’ll go into the bathroom, brush and put my hair up and out of the way, wash my face, moisturizer and brush my teeth. I’ll then just go and watch cartoons with my son until I take him to school. ( I absolutely love this time of the morning.)
After I get back from dropping my son off at school I will make myself some breakfast and a coffee, sit down and read my daily promise book and fill out my gratitude journal. I usually just watch a bit of tv, this is when I’ll check social media and my blog and make a to do list for the day. (I always try to stay off social media straight away when I wake up cause if I do my son will never get to school.!! haha.)
After I’ve done all that I will do a 20 minute yoga session (I find my yoga sessions on YouTube) and then I will sit somewhere quite and do a 10 minute meditation session. ( I use the app ‘calm’)
After that I will go for a shower and get ready for the day and do what I have to do until my son has to be picked up from school.
Sometimes if I’m not doing anything that day I will go all out and do a hair mask and face mask,I just like to have a bit of a pamper session, that would probably only happen once a week. (well I try.) If you like any tips on making your own face masks click here..
