DIY Cream Highlighter

Hello to all my beautiful readers!

In Todays blog post I’ll be sharing with you on how to diy your very own cream highlighter. So without any further ado let’s just jump straight into it then..

A highlighter is meant to highlight certain features of your face. It can be applied along your cheek bones, brow bone, down the bridge of your nose, on the tip if your nose, your upper lip and the inner corner of the eyes. I love doing this as it always makes you look so much more awake. With highlighters you can take your look from dull and boring to looking like a glowing goddess in just minutes. Even on those minimal makeup days I always apply highlighter. So I thought why not make my own so that’s what I did.

There are so many highlighters on the market at the moment, they cam come in either powder, liquid or cream form. Diy cream highlighter..

A bowl (not in the pic)

Organic coconut oil

A container

Some old eyeshadow, pigments, highlighters you already own

Something to stir with ( I used a teaspoon )

  • Add some coconut oil into a microwave safe bowl and zap it for about 30-40 seconds or until it have melted.

  • Add some eyeshadow, pigment or highlighter of your own in a bowl with the coconut oil and mix it together until it all combined.

  • Now add in the moisturizer little by little until you get the consistency you are after.

  • Add it to your chosen container and you are done. Just let it sit to firm back up and you are ready to use. Super easy right.?
