Hello to all my beautiful readers.!! I’m so sorry it’s been a while since I have posted. I’ve been flat out with my sons end of year Christmas concert. Finally the school year in Australia is coming to an end and I can’t wait.
From now until Christmas I will be posting Christmas blogs. So without any further ado let’s get into the diys.
1. SNOWMAN TEALIGHT CANDLE
What you will need for this diy, is a glue gun, glue sticks (not in picture),black felt, red ribbon, black sharpie and tealight candles (fake).
With the black sharpie make dots as the snowman’s eyes and mouth. (his nose will be the fake flame)
Next cut out a small rectangle and a really small strip of black felt and hot glue it to the top of the tealight, as I have in the picture.
The finished snowman tealight candle. What I did was cut a small strip of ribbon and hot glued it to the black felt. I then cut another strip of ribbon and made a scarf and hot glued that underneath the tealight. (Please be careful as hot glue is very hot.)
2. POPSTICKS CHRISTMAS TREE
What you need for this diy is popsticks, glue gun, glue sticks, (not in picture) sequins, pearl stickers, green paint and paint brush.
Take 3 pipsticks out, lay some paper down and squirt out a bit of green paint onto a tray.
Paint all 3 popsticks and set aside to let completely dry.
Next take the painted popsticks and glue them in a triangle shape and let dry. As you see I ended up just using Elmer’s school glue and it worked fine. Just had to hold in place for a bit longer.
Once the glue has dried, start gluing on the sequins and the pearl stickers onto the popstick Christmas tree. Let dry.
The finished popstick Christmas tree. I ended up hot gluing a yellow Pom Pom on the top to replicate a star. I also tied some sting to it so I can hang it on my Christmas tree.
3. FAKE SNOW TEALIGHT CANDLE HOLDER
What you at you need for this diy is fake snow, mason jar, Elmer’s school glue, paint brush and tealight candles. This diy is so simple and quick but it so cute. Love this one ❤️
The finished fake snow tealight candle holder. All I did was take the lid off the mason jar and put my hand in and glued the outside of the jar, while the glue was still wet I sprinkled on the fake snow I kept doing it until I had the desired look. I cut a small strip of red ribbon and tied it in a bow around the mason jar. Pop in a fake tealight candle and you good to go. Just make sure to let it dry before putting it on display. 😊
Well there you have it my 3 easy Christmas diys. Please let me know in the comments which one was your favorite and if you will be making them.
Hope everyone is having an awesome day 😊
Until next time
