1. BREATH FRESHNER

Coconut oil has anti fungal and antibacterial properties. So gargle a spoonful of coconut oil for 20 minutes (AKA oil pulling) can help clear up germs in your mouth, leading to fresher breath, whiter teeth and healthier gums.

2. BODY MOISTURISER

Coconut oil is rich in fatty acids, making it an effective moisturiser, and it absorbs quickly into the skin, that’s key, because it means that the oil makes your skin look more glowy than lotion.

3. FACE MOISTURISER

Just as you can use it on your body, you can also use coconut oil on your face to moisturiser your skin. It can act like a primer as it softens the skin before applying makeup. It will give you that glowy dewy look. If that’s what you like.

4. MAKEUP BRUSH CLEANER

Cleaning your makeup brushes should be a monthly ritual. So I have found this method to clean makeup brushes, two parts of an antibacterial soap and then one part coconut oil. It works a treat.!!

5. LIP BALM

Coconut oil is the ideal remedy for chapped lips. Pack a bit in a jar and apply to lips through out the day if needed.

6. MASSAGE OIL

Warm some coconut oil in the microwave and add a few drops of essential oils, for a soothing massage.

7. WHITENING TOOTHPASTE

Ever ran out of toothpaste? Grab a small amount of coconut oil and add a little bit of baking soda for a quick fix toothpaste, plus it had no nasty chemicals.

8. DANDRUFF TREATMENT

Dandruff and a dry scalp go hand in hand, so you need to put moisture right back to the roots with a nightly coconut oil treatment, just apply lightly to the roots and massage in, which will also stimulate hair growth.

9. LICE REMEDY

Start this all- natural lice treatment with a rinse of apple cider vinegar, once the vinager has dried, apply the coconut oil to the entire head and let sit for at least 12-24 hours. Brush through hair with a fine comb, then shampoo hair.

10. UNDEREYE CREAM

You don’t want to spend a fortune on eye cream? Then just dab a bit of coconut oil on the undereye area and fine lines, it’s light enough for the most delicate skin on your face.

I really hope this has help you to realise that coconut oil can be used in many ways. Please let me know in the comments if you have ever used coconut oil?

Hope everyone has an awesome 😊

Until next time
